1- What did you eat for breakfast today?

Skipped breakfast as I often do.

Genuine, Infinitely curious, Loyal, Bad at math :)

3-What is something you wholeheartedly believe?

That this life has no inherent meaning and that nothing happens for a reason. But it’s the people we meet and the experiences we choose to live that make it worthwhile.

4- Something you’re worried about

The dire political situation in the country. The Lebanese currency’s sharp devaluation. Everyone I know losing their savings, jobs and then immigrating. Constantly feeling like I’m wasting my youth in a wasteland. Feeling trapped here. Climate change. The pandemic... To name a few.

5-Something you’re proud of

That I have been my own boss for a very long time, and almost never had to compromise on “living my life” because of work.

6-Three boring facts about yourself

I take brushing my teeth very seriously. My favorite dish is literally made out of 2 ingredients. I am really not into watching sports.

7-Last time you cried?

Sometime around 2013. But I did tear up heavily last August when I visited Beirut and saw the carnage after the explosion.

8-The nicest compliment you’ve ever received

Not sure it would be of great taste to mention it here.

9-As a lifelong student, what was the latest thing you sought more info about?

Learned a whole song in Armenian to play it at my best friend’s wedding!

10-Have you ever experienced discrimination?

Every single visa application I’ve filled up has been a reminder that our place of birth dictates a huge part of our circumstances.

11-Would you ever date someone of a different race or religion? Would your family care?

I would. My family would care, but probably wouldn’t mind either.

12-Last thing you bought

A suit for my best friend’s wedding last weekend.

13-Last thing you googled

How to push an array to another array in Javascript.

14-What is your favorite way to pass time?

Depending on the setting, it could be anything from watching a good documentary, to aimlessly hanging out with a friend.

15-What does ‘See the Human’ mean to you?

A reminder that each person living or dead is as complex and unique as me, in a way that I will never understand. (there’s a word for that feeling btw: “sonder”)
